Alongside the Apostle Paul, we believe that, "grace was given to each one of us according to the measure of Christ's gift." (Ephesians 4:7). As well as "there are varieties of service, but the same Lord" and that we are each "given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good." (1 Corinthians 12:5, 7). Therefore, we believe that each serving member of a local church is vital to its health and function. We provide several opportunities below at our gathering to serve on a Sunday or outside of the gathering times. The role ministry team leaders play is primarily focused on managing systems and leading people who are serving within those systems.

Our largest ministry team, AG Kids exists to partner with parents in helping their kids (infants-5th) to know, love, and follow Jesus.

The First Impressions team exists to help welcome newcomers to August Gate and to help them find their place.

The Grounds Crew exists to help maintain, manage, and beautify the property that August Gate Church calls home.

The Events Team exists to help August Gate be disciples and make disciples through large scale events.

The Security Team exists to help keep those attending August Gate safe on Sunday mornings and at large scale events.

The Photography Team exists to capture and document what God is doing in and through August Gate Church.

The Connections Team exists to help newcomers get connected to the life of August Gate Church, moving them from first time visitors to covenant members.

The Prayer Team exists to pray with and for others, both in worship services on Sundays and throughout the week.
