Vision

AG Students exists to partner with parents in equipping students to be disciples who make disciples. In AG Students, 6th-12th grade students gather to grow as disciples who know, love, and follow Jesus together by His grace.

Know What to Expect

Our AG Students gathering generally meets on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month at the August Gate Church building from 6:00pm-8:30pm. We spend about an hour playing games and building friendships before spending the rest of the time in God’s word, worship, and discipleship-focused small groups called D-Groups. Expect to be greeted by a member of our AG Students Volunteer Team who will be able to answer any questions you have! We can’t wait to meet you and your students!

Your Student's Safety

We are committed to making AG Students a safe and secure place for your students.

To accomplish this, we:
  • Perform background checks on all AG Students workers.
  • Require new workers to be involved at August Gate for at least three months and be interviewed before working with students.
  • We require at least two adults present at every AG Students activity.
  • We will never have one student alone with a worker of the opposite gender and will only allow one-on-one transportation for the same gender with parental consent.
