August Gate now uses a powerful messaging tool made available through the App and Website. Using Messaging through the August Gate App offers several benefits including:

- Keep up to date with the latest news and announcements from August Gate.
- Keep in touch with your Knot for all communications including prayer requests, important updates, and normal engagement throughout the week.
- Join groups that help you stay engaged in ministries that you or your children are part of.
- Help expand your knowledge of scripture by joining the Bible Reading Plan group, and engage in conversation with others as we read through the scriptures together.
How do I sign up?

If you have a Subsplash account, you can proceed with logging in. If you do not have an account, select Create an account.

Fill out the account creation information and continue with setting your account up.

You are now set up! Don’t forget to add a profile picture! You can start to engage in conversations, and submit prayer requests for groups that you are part of. To get started with messaging, simply select the chat bubble icon. Messaging is also available on the web if you are looking to send information from a computer. Simply go to www.augustgate.com, and select the chat bubble in the lower right-hand corner.

Q: It is telling me my email already exists. Why and how do I enroll?
A: If you have previously used your email for tithing, or any other Subsplash service at August Gate, you might already have an account. You can attempt to log in instead of enrolling, and if you forgot your password, you can select the forgot your password link. Still having issues? A: Open the Messaging icon, and select Discover. Find the group you are interested in, select and join. Some groups require approval before you can be added. To gain approval, simply pull up the group, and select Request to join. You will be added on an administrator is able to approve the request.

A: Ensure you have push notifications enabled for the August Gate App. From the August Gate Home Screen, select the person icon (or your picture if you have uploaded a photo), scroll down to the Notifications within the App settings, and ensure you have notifications turned on. You may need to also check your device’s notifications settings to ensure they are enabled for August Gate.
